I am a happy person
I am a happy person, that’s for sure. I knew what I would be doing for living since my childhood. When I was 4, I came to my parents and with all seriousness said that I am going to work in film industry. Even then I wanted to work behind the scenes and create all that magic that happens on the screen.
Professional diversity is a key
I graduated as TV and film producer. A funny coincidence - my grad paper was on computer graphics. But I started working in CG industry much later.
I started working when I was a second-year student - I was longing to adapt my theoretical knowledge to real practice. Working as a production assistant helped me develop my creativity. At my 4th year I worked already as a producer a production company, where I stayed for 4 years and was promoted to the position of an executive director.
Then I decided to move forward and have got a job in TV where I tried myself in almost every field from news, TV shopping and transmission to pre- and post-production. Now that diverse and significant experience helps me a lot with my current position, the 3 key components of which are communication, multitasking and creativity.
When I was having a job interview at Vizart, I have got an offer to work at FIFA World Cup 2018 already. But if it is a destiny, it won’t just go away. In the midst of the Cup I got a phone call from Vizart and an offer to start working when my commitment to World Cup is over. That’s how I joined the team.
Motion design department is like a living organism
I work in motion design department, which is one of the hardest areas in TV graphics. Every day I see designers coming up with ideas, drawing, creating models and animations. They function like a single living organism. That’s a true magic!
